The Indian Scout Motorcycle (No. 5922).

The Indian Scout Motorcycle (No. 5922).

I've always identified with the biker culture, and its romantic, early 20th century predecessor, the biker subculture, because a motorcycle says a lot about who you are and the way you choose to live. It was, and still is, an expression of unconventionality, which is why I started this company more than 30 years ago.

Indian Motorcycle® continues to embrace that time in America when not everyone rode a bike on Sunday afternoon; a time when packing up and riding cross-country for work, exploration, or a new beginning, wasn't so easy. It wasn't just a hobby. It was a way of life.

When introduced in the 1920s, The Indian® Scout® was widely considered the best American bike on the road. When we learned that Indian Motorcycle was bringing it back, I wanted to be a part of it.

When you're on the open road, the heat can pulsate off the asphalt, blurring what lies ahead. You don't know what's actually there unless you keep riding, exploding through the illusion, and into that unknown entity we call the future.

I have a suggestion on your mode of transportation.
